75th Anniversary Gala Update

The Fletcher School’s 75th Anniversary Gala will take place at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC, on October 11. Over 500 alumni and friends are registered to attend. The Classes of 2008, 2005, and 2002 lead in numbers attending from each class. 2004, 1999, 1997, and 1996 are right behind. Click here to see a list of who is attending.

His recent exit from the presidential race evidenced by an Al Gore-esque beard and his trademark jovial smile, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson (F '71) stood before an admiring yet skeptical Fletcher crowd on April 1. Hosted at the palatial residence of the Belgian Ambassador to the US Dominique Struye de Swielande, Richardson’s informal speech focused on straight talk, Obama, and his own destiny.

Ambassador of Ecuador Hosts Fletcher Club and Tufts Alliance for the Holidays

The Fletcher Club of DC and the Washington Tufts Alliance jointly hosted a holiday party at the Ecuadorian Embassy at the gracious invitation of Ambassador Luis Gallegos (F'83). Gallegos remarked on what an important and life-changing event his time at Fletcher was while Tufts President Lawrence S. Bacow updated attendees on Tufts news and presented Gallegos with a set of Tufts cufflinks and a Fletcher globe.
