Hi, DC Fletcher Alumni!

As you may or may not know, after nine years of extraordinary service to the Fletcher school, Tamara Golden has decided it is time to change coasts. She is headed to the University of California at San Diego (UCSD) where she will be joining the career office for their school of international affairs. We will miss her greatly, but understand her strong desire to leave behind the snow (and snow shovel, ice scrapers, snow boots and parka).

My name is Zaid A. Zaid, and I am the new interim Co-Chair of the Fletcher Alumni Association of Washington, D.C. In accordance with the club’s by-laws, I was elected by the Board on an interim basis after Uzma Wahhab (F’99) stepped down from the position. I will serve along with Satish Jha, the other Co-Chair.

On Thursday, February 12, 2009, The Fletcher Office of Career Services and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations invite DC-area alumni to join Dean Stephen W. Bosworth for the Annual Alumni-Student Networking Reception and Brief Speaking Program at the National Press Club.
